Challah for Hunger is an organization in which students bake challot and sell them, donating the proceeds to anti-hunger initiatives. During the 2014-2015 school year, we officially started our own Challah for Hunger chapter at Clark University! 100% of the profits are donated to hunger-fighting organizations, and all of the costs are absorbed by Hillel. Last year we raised $180 and we hope to keep it up in the new year!

We make the dough, braid it, and bake it all by ourselves with lots of love! It’s a ton of fun, you get to meet new people, and you learn how to bake challah from scratch. If you’re interested in joining us, contact Tikkun Olam Committee for more information.

Challah for Hunger sales are monthly (on a Friday) in the University Center from 11-2
